Review | Australis Fresh and Flawless - Pressed Powder

Hi there! :)

So I've recently purchased the Australis Fresh and Flawless pressed powder. As the name suggests it is an Australian company. The packaging implies that this product is 'A convenient mirrored compact that provides instant touch ups for a radiant matte complexion'.

It's available in 3 different shades Natural, Deep Natural and Darkest Brown. I got mine in Natural as i'm a very fair skinned creature. 

A lot of people rave about this product as its basically a dupe for the MAC studio fix powder. I myself have never tried the MAC product but I can say that this Australis product is amazing!!

The Packaging.

The packaging is almost exact same to the MAC studio fix, though the fresh and flawless has more of a shiny case. It is quiet bulky but that isn't a bother for me. It also has a compact mirror which is quiet handy while on the go. Underneath the product there is a round applicator sponge, I myself don't use it as I prefer applying powder with a brush.

The Product.

• It's great for setting your foundation or mattifying shiny skin. 
• I've found that its very light on the skin which is great with any product. 
• It's oil and fragrance free and hasn't clogged up any of my pores. 
• It has great coverage and I've even been wearing it on its own!
• It's great for sensitive skin. I have extremly sensitive skin and this product has not set my skin off at all! Which is the biggest plus for me.

 Although it is only available in Australia and New Zealand to my knowledge  You can pick it up from Priceline, Kmart, Big W, Target ect. For $8 - $12 depending weather it is on sale or not.

I defiantly recommend this product! and I'll for sure repurchase it :)

Oscars 2013 | Red Carpet

The 2013 Oscars have come and gone. There were some absolutely stunning dresses, then there were some shockers. Here are mine favorites :)

How amazing did Jennifer Lawrence look in this pale pink Dior Haute Couture gown! It had quiet a big train out the back, no wonder she tripped up the stairs to accept her best actress Oscar which was well deserved!

Amanda Seyfried was by far my favorite dressed on the night! She's just stunning to look at. She wore a soft flowing Alexander McQueen dress, with a halter neckline. 

Nicole Kidman wore a L'Wren Scott body con dress. I simply loved the black and gold combination. The gold swirls at the bottom of this dress was a standout for me, and her simple tousled hair looked great!

Samantha Barks looked stunning in this simple black Valentino dress.

Worst dressed goes to....

Anne Hathaway!

Anne wore a pale pink Prada dress. I just found this dress boring and dull. I thought the back of it looked horrible and how it's tied at the back!? Hmmmm and don't get me started on her nipples, haha a bit cold Anne? Though I did like her hair on the night!

Style Sunday | Cher Lloyd

Happy Sunday! So today's Style Sunday is on the tiny Cher Lloyd. Now people have mixed feelings about her but I absoulty love her and her attitude! And of course I can't get enough of her style.

Cher pulls of so many clothing styles from really girly to gangster style.... (If thats even a style, but you get the jist) She's small and petite but still can pull off so many looks. I'd actually kill for her wardrobe. She also has a "tough" attitude about her, plus she has many tattoos!

Her hair colour is usally brown, and she can really pull of the one side of your head shaved look in my opinion. She once did go with bright red hair... That wasn't so great....

Cher wears alot of these tutu style dresses while performing, I love how she dresses them down with a pair of sneakers to give the look her own style.

This is actually one of my favorite outfits of Chers (There's a poster of her in this on my wall!) I love the cute polka dot top with the leather look racer skirt and I just LOVE the accessories. The two above are definatly two of Cher's girlier looks.

Cher can really pull of anything! Some of her less girlier looks. I think she simply looks great in doc martens.

Lucky last but not least, Cher in her XFactor days! She even pulled of trackies and high tops back then.

New York Fashion Week

Hey Everyone :) 

So as you may know New York fashion week has just come and gone and i've been checking out the gallerys and videos from it, and decided to do a very quick post on it. So here are some of my favorites :)

Vera Wang 

Vera had some amazing designs this year! These aren't something that I would wear though. The design of the jumpsuit i love, along with the choice of colors as i'm really loving orange at the moment. The dress looks very business like with an edge. The "black dress + Gothic look" is in at the moment and I think this look is great!

 Badgley Mischka 

I think the dress on the left is simply stunning. I love the detailing around the waist and also on the shoulders. The dress on the right is so simple yet so pretty, my main love for this dress is the collar at the neck.

Zimmermann

I came across these pieces and instantly fell in love! Both pieces are full of sheer material and pastels. I myself would love to own both of these, but lets be honest that wont happen any time soon.

So they are just a few of my favourites, and of course i'll be doing a post on London Fashion week very soon :)

Style Sunday | Demi Lovato

For my second Style Sunday I thought i'd do the gorgeous Demi Lovato.

I've been a major fan of hers ever since she stared in 'Camp Rock'. Shes been through so many personal struggles and she's made her way though and I know she's an inspiration to so many people.

She's been though so many hair colour changes and suited them all so well, and her style is simply amazing! Demi has great curves and can pull off mainly anything, she's defiantly someone to look up to. 

This dress that Demi wore to the 2012 People’s Choice Awards has been one of my favorite looks for a long time. It's not something she would usally wear and her figure looks amazing in it.

Last year Demi went blonde for a while, I loved it! + I really want this denim jacket!

FOTD & New hair!?

Weeeew, weekend time! Which actually means homework for me ;( ohhh the joys of year 12!

I got up this morning and decided to smash a little bit on make up on, ill talk about the 3 main things :)

♥ Eyebrows - Modelsprefer eyebrow kit.

Now I have THE lightest eyebrows, I quiet like there shape though but they are basically invisible! This product is great and available from priceline. The kit includes 2 brow powders, 2 highlighters, an eyebrow pencil and tweezers.

♥ Eyelashes - Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara

I have tiny little lashes, major downer but i've found that this mascara works the best for me. There's a mini review in my January Favorites.

♥ Lips - Boe Beauty Lipstick - Coral Kiss

Love, Love, love this colour. Enough said :) What to know more about this lipstick click here!

So very soon i'm getting rid of the blonde hair, as it's becoming to hard to look after and costing a fair bit of money. Sooo i'm thinking of going a dark ombre! Here are 3 of the colours im going to choose from....

Style Sunday | Perrie Edwards

I thought it would be an idea if I tried out a kind of 'Style Sunday' type of thing and see how it goes :)

So unless you live under a rock with a fat man sitting on top of it you would of heard of Perrie Edwards from Little Mix.

Little Mix came onto the scene after winning the 2011 UK Xfactor. They than shot straight to number 1 with there debut single "Cannonball" They have just recently realised there album 'DNA' which includes the songs Wings and dna. Perrie is also currently dating One Direction member Zayn Mailk.

Now I love everything about Perrie from her hair to her fashion! Perrie for a long time had blonde/white hair for quiet a long time but just recently she has gone for a purple and it looks great! I do prefer her blonde hair though. She also wears a lot of flower head bands through her hair creating a hippy kind of style.

Now if I could have one celebs wardrobe it would have to be Perries! She usally has boho/hippy/rock style going on and she can pull them all off! Below are some of my favorite outfits of hers :)

These outfits are both quiet simple, I love crop tops matched with high waisted shorts atm, and I like how well the doc martin styled shoes go with it. On the right hand picture I think Perrie pulls off disco pants so well! and I just love the outfit overall.

             

I wont gabble on to much but I think Perrie really pulls off white dresses so well! and as in the white picture I think that the boho style suits her the most.

And of course after Perrie was seen wearing the Geek shirt from Topshop, anyone and everyone went out and brought it!

January Favorites

Hey, Hi, Hello :)

So I hope everyone had a great start to the year! It's now a week into February so I thought i'd do my January favorites for the first time. So here's just a few items I've enjoyed during the month.

Firstly I have loved the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, its a great summer foundation and I've been using it all during January, I won't ramble on about it because I've done a full review on it which you can take a look at here :)

A non beauty fave is my one direction usb which is 8GB. It may be THE best usb I've ever owned! I picked it up at office works for $15, but now they are available for $9.99, here . Well worth it if you're a one direction fan like myself.

The next 3 items are all pink! Now I've never really been into pink but it is really growing on me.

For my nails I've been loving Ulta3's sunset pink nail polish, it's only $2, how can you go wrong! To read more on this nail polish and other colors I've reviewed the brand right here.

Now I get extremely chapped dry and horrible lips, and I've always found that the lush lip scrubs always work the best! I was recently in Adelaide and popped into lush and picked up the bubblegum lip scrub for $9.99. I previously had the chocolate/vanilla scrub, but the bubblegum one is a major winner for me. I exfoliates well, smells amazing and tastes incredible! Not going to lie I eat about half of these jars when ever I get one.

My fave perfume for this month is Avons 'Secret Fantasy'. It smells of a blend of red fruits and flowers with a hint of white musk. Its quiet a sweet scent and great for summer. I love the bottle and the little key chain that is on it which you have to remove to use it. One down thing is that it does not have a lid which I don't really like. 

This is my second tube of the Maybelline Pulse Perfection mascara. The first one I had was waterproof and I wasn't to happy with it. My mum then brought me home the normal one and I love it! I love the formula and I much prefer plastic/rubber bristles on my mascara brushes which it has, but that's not up everyone's ally. and of course it vibrate..... which I hate! Which makes it so hard to apply, so I just don't turn it on.

Lastly is a pair of shoes. Now I cant tell you what store I got them from because I was on holidays and  I don't know the name of the store :P They are basically just a high top which i'm really loving at them moment with a leopard print design which I've also been loving!

So lately on many blogs ive seen others do a blog post on 25 facts about themselves so I thought i'd give it a crack along with some slightly ridiculous photos...

1. I didn't have a full head of hair until I was 2! (I looked like a feral little boy)

2. I don't drink or smoke.

3. I'm currently in my last year of school.

4. I have a fear of bananas.

5. I have so many freckles I may as well be a ranga.

6. I've been sick for over a year and a half and they don't know whats wrong with me.

7. I REALLY love cats.

9. I watch friends at least once a day.
