Make-Up Haul.

I haven't blogged in years! (okay not that long) I've been abit on the sick side and busy with school :(

Today I thought stuff it, i'm going to do a blog post!

So recently if you're from Australia you may know that Chemist Warehouse has been having massive sales. This includes 50% OFF make-up brands like Revlon, Maybelline, Rimmel London and Sally Hansen. 

First I picked up some nail polishes.

(Left to Right) Sally Hansen Nail polish remover, SH Salon Manicure in Commander in Chic, SH Gem Crush in Razzle Dazzler and 3 Rimmel polishes in Black Cherries, How do you lilac it and Coralicious. 

They're all great nail polishes but the Rimmel 60 seconds are my fav, they dry so fast! Which I love because i'm so impatient when it comes to waiting for my nails to dry.

I've really been wanting to try the Kate Moss lipsticks brought out by Rimmel and thought this sale was perfect to buy one. I purchased mine in shade 22 which is quiet a bold bright red. It's gorgeous. Now I just need somewhere to wear it.

I'm in LOVE with the match perfection concealer! It goes on nicely with the brush on the end, blends nicely and hides the nasty's on my face! I got mine in Ivory cause i'm pretty much as white as a snow man. 

Recently I've wanted an eyeliner in a color other then black! I picked up the Scandal Eyes waterproof eyeliner in Taupe and can't say anything bad about it. It's a lovely subtle color to line the eyes with.  

Now the Rimmel Glam eyes Day 2 Night mascara.... I've used it a few times now, and i'm still not sure on how I feel about it. A few times it has gone quite clumpy on my lashes which was not a fun time. Hmmm don't think i'll want to repurchase it any time soon.

VCE Ball Dress?

Next month all the year 12's in our area and have a 'VCE Ball', and I have no idea what to wear!

Met Ball 2013 | Best and Worst Dressed

Hey Hey! 
The Met Ball has just come and gone along with many hits and misses on the red carpet, here is my opinion of the red carpet fashion on the night.

Best Dressed

My favorite overall dressed on the night was Cara Delevinge who looked simply amazing in a Burberry studded dress. This year there was a 'punk' look through a lot of celebs red carpet choices. I think Cara's dress did this the best with full length sleeves with the studs.

I also thought fellow Australian Miranda Kerr looked great! but she looks great in pretty much anything.

Between you and me I kind liked what Sarah Jessica Parker was wearing, though its different and kinda looks like a tent I really liked what she was wearing.

Emmy Rossum looked simply gorgeous. I loved her dress, her hair, her make-up and thought it just went well all together.

Worst Dressed

Nicole, Nicole, Nicole........ sorry but you looked horrible. I actually liked the dress, but she looked like a dead corpse! The dark make-up, the white hair.... eh.

Worst dress on the night goes to Kim Kardashian. She looks like a big flower garden! You would think that if you're about to pop a baby you would wear a more flattering dress... but no. Oh, and Kim I can't seem to see your hands!? Ah that's right, cause you have matching gloves on!?!

Kristen are you wearing a fancy onesie that is so ugly it's making you angry!? Oh you're not, my mistake.

I love Miley Cyrus but I'm not really like this look at all! That's what my hair looks like once I get out  of the shower, and I'm not the dresses biggest fan either.

I didn't get Madonna's look at all. It kinda hurts to look at, and she really needs to start dressing her age..... Oh and Barbie called she wants her shoes back.

Blog Everyday In May Day 7: The Things I'm Most Afraid Of

What am I most afraid of?

 When this question is asked three things eminently come to mind.

1. Hights - Quiet a common one to be honest, but the thought of falling or something breaking scares the shizz out of me!

2. The Future - If you have life goals or a vison of what you want your future to be like there is no denying that you may at one point be afraid of not achieving any of your goals or just failing along the way. Quiet frankly I am afraid of that happening.

3. Bananas - The smell, the texture, just everything! I actually have a really weird fear of them!

Blog Everyday In May Day 5: Online Friends - Twitter

Hey Hey! :)

Today is all about online friends! Now of course you have always got to be careful when talking to people on the internet as they may be acting nothing like they really are or they may secretly be a  50 year old man creeping on girls.... erk!!

Most of the friends that I've made online come from twitter. I love twitter as you can interact with people who have similar interests to you and can just chat about one topic for ages.

Are they a fake account or not?

Before I have a convo with someone on twitter though DM (direct message) I do these little tips....

1. I have a read of there bio - People tend to pop their age into there bio, I like to check this as I really don't want to be talking to someone a million years older than me. 

2. I read through some of there tweets - You can usually find what their interests are though their tweets, you can also judge character in the way they write their tweets and the language they use. I myself do curse now and then in my tweets but quiet frankly I don't want to interact with someone who writes like this "@%$#$ you, #$%#% yeah, #$#!%$^$%#$@$%%$####!!!!!"

3. Take a look thorough their pictures - I will NOT speak to someone if they don't have any pictures. Mainly because people who don't are usually fakes. Look for people who have  pictures of everyday life or pictures out with friends ect....

Overall just trust your instincts, oh and there will always be trolls and keyboard warriors out there, they are easily fixed with a simple click of the block button!

Blog Everyday In May Day 3: Things that make me uncomfortable.

Hey hey!

Yesterday I may of missed day 2... but we won't tell anyone about that! Today's topic is what makes me uncomfortable? There are many things, I could write a whole Christmas list full of them! Here are a few.

 

• When people touch my neck. - I can't stand it! I was once at the dentist and he had his finger awkardly sitting on my neck.... I was sooo close to giving him a slap >.<

• When people cough. - I go straight to cringe city and just want to run away when somebody coughs around me. Espesh when it's all flemy.... ew
  
  
• When old guys call you hun or darling - Self explanitory, who doesn't feel uncomfortable when that happens.

•  When people stare at you - It's the awkwarest thing ever!!
